The M-20 Acoustic Guitar, a remodelled version of the Guild’s M-20 prototype, represents the company’s journey and growth in the field of guitar manufacturing. The original M-20 featured on the cover of a popular music album, Bryter Layter, and is thus nicknamed ‘the Nick Drake guitar’. The solid mahogany body offers pronounced lows and compresses the midrange frequencies, thus producing thick sounds. Hence, this guitar is a fitting choice for playing a wide range of genres, from folk to Baroque pop. The fretboard of this guitar is crafted from rosewood, a material known for delivering warm, mellow tones. The concert size guitar features a curved body and is thus easy to hold.
